Preschool Science Educator

Forty Carrots Family Center is seeking a caring and knowledgeable science teacher. The Preschool Science Educator will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and assessment tools utilizing STEM components in alignment with Forty Carrots educational philosophies. The Preschool Science Educator facilitates lessons and activities with small groups, typically 4 to 6 children at a time, and provides feedback and progress updates to the other Preschool Educators. Our NAEYC accredited program has low student-to-teacher ratio and a commitment to individualized curiosity, care and respect. This full-time teaching position requires a minimum of an associate degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education or related field; bachelor's degree is preferred. Florida DCF Child Care Personnel Training must be completed within 90 days of hire. Knowledge of Creative Curriculum is helpful but not required.
