An instructional lecturer will be responsible for maintaining the highest academic standards in his/her particular discipline. The individual is expected to exercise professionalism and civility in all activities related to the role of academician, including those concerned with the various duties assigned, and any involvement with colleagues, peers, community and students. The instructional lecturer is a full-time, temporary, non-tenure tract position. Salary will be determined at the time of offer. Job Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Education/Experience: Master's Degree and at least 18 graduate level credit hours in Physics, Astronomy, or related discipline or Doctorate in Physics or related discipline. • Other Skills and Abilities: Must demonstrate effective use of instructional technology and be familiar with current office hardware and software. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
