AGWTG seeks a detail-oriented and mission-minded Christian individual whose values align to serve as the Executive Finance Manager (EFM) at the AGWTG Christian ministry family of organizations. This position reports to and supports the Finance Director (FD) by overseeing the daily financial processes and finance team at AGWTG’s growing enterprise. This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational excellence across multiple nonprofit entities.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the EFM oversees daily accounting operations, leads the finance team, and ensures accurate reporting, compliance, and system efficiency. This is a hands-on role that combines strategic oversight and implementation with direct team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage monthly financial reports, reconciliations, and intercompany transfers
- Oversee tracking of restricted and unrestricted funds across multiple entities
- Daily supervision and support for the finance staff
- Assist with audits, IRS Form 990s, and compliance reporting
- Support budget development and forecasting
- Expand the use of accounting systems (Blackbaud, QuickBooks, AvidXchange)
- Streamline and document efficient financial processes and procedures
- Coordinate with external accountants and legal advisors
- Prepare financial reports for leadership and donors
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Five to seven years of nonprofit or multi-entity accounting experience
- At least two years of team management experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting
- Proficiency in Blackbaud, QuickBooks, and similar systems
- Proven detail-oriented work patterns and with proactive systems-driven practices
- Proven professional abilities in writing—emails and hard copy; presentation comfortability; and, team leadership skills and experience
- Initial salary: $125,000
- Position begins with a 90-day trial period prior to full employment
