At the Manatee Literacy Council, we believe in the power of literacy to transform lives. Our Tutor Certification Training (TCT) is designed for passionate individuals who want to help adults in Manatee County gain the reading, writing, and communication skills necessary for independence and success.
During the training, you’ll learn proven methods for teaching literacy, receive guidance on how to work with adult learners, and gain valuable insight into the challenges they face. You’ll also have access to resources that will empower you to be an effective, confident tutor.
