Event Description:
The Manatee River Garden Club's upcoming program is "The Art of Ikebana" held on Wednesday, February 15 from 1-2 pm. Pat Bonarek, the presenter, is a certified teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana based in Tokyo, Japan. She studied the art of Ikebana while working in Japan for 13 years, and has conducted many workshops locally, in various states, as well as, overseas. She will create both historical and modern designs during her presentation.
