Event Description:
The ribbon cutting ceremony and re-opening event will offer a preview of the renovations completed at East Bradenton Park to dignitaries and community members.
This park has received updated amenities to keep the whole family moving! Families can gather in the new pavilion then challenge each other on the new basketball court, to a soccer match on the new multipurpose field or see who is the most agile at the obstacle course. Other options now include fitness stations and walking along the expanded crushed shell walking trail.
Ribbon cutting will be followed with a performance by the Southeast High School Drumline, an open house with food trucks, and family-friendly activities, including a free basketball clinic facilitated by Malik Barton (GT Bray Recreation Coordinator).
