Hurricane Irma ~ Lessons Learned

How do you prepare in an emergency? Do you have a disaster and recovery plan? What about your business, your employees? The best thing you can do on Valentine?s Day is join us on February 14 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the Manatee County Emergency Operation Center.

Develop your disaster plan with representatives from State and Local Emergency Management along with local businesses who have firsthand disaster response experience.

As we learned in 2017, don't take a predicted storm track for granted, be prepared for extended power outages, flooding, unavailability of food or fresh water, and road closures.

Learn how the Emergency Operations Center works during an activation and get a hands-on tour of the EOC.
