Event Description:
The January program sponsored by the Manatee River Garden Club on Wednesday, January 15 from 1-2 pm is “Air Potato Beetles and You”. It is presented by Alyssa Vinson, the residential horticulturist at University of Florida/Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Extension office in Palmetto. She will explain how to control and eradicate the potato vines using biological warfare. Open to the public. No charge.
