De Soto Landing Event

Saturday April 16th, De Soto National Memorial will host its 81st annual De Soto Landing Event. This annual event recreates the landing of the Conquistador Hernando de Soto. Historical reenactors will portray this historic event at 10:00am and 1:00pm. there will historical talks, weapons demonstrations, and activities for families.
The price of the event is FREE!
The landing is on the beach adjacent to Riverview Point Preserve near the Memorial Cross. Join us as we bring this fun and educational event.
