Event Description:
Tourism is big business and a major economic driver for our area. How have we recovered post-pandemic and what can we expect now and in the future? How does the Bradenton Area CVB capitalize on our unique assets and amenities to attract visitors through effective market messaging? Elliott and his team will share the Bradenton Area's story and keys to successful visitor marketing.
A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Elliott spent the first six years of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. Since then, he has spent over 28 years working for Manatee County Government - 13 of those as the Executive Director of the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau - serving a community that he dearly loves.
He and his team are responsible for showcasing Manatee County, domestically and internationally, as a destination for business and leisure travel. He also oversees operations of the Bradenton Area Convention Center, the Powel Crosley Estate, and the Manatee County Tourist Information Center at the Ellenton Premium Outlets mall.
