Event Description:
When the pandemic started, airports throughout the country cut capacity with some closing completely. This resulted in a broader impact to airport revenues but also to the economic development of the surrounding communities. The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport adjusted to the new aviation paradigm and now has increasing traffic, new airlines at the gates, and expanding nonstop flights.
The Manatee Chamber will host Rick Piccolo, President and CEO, for an update on the challenges and opportunities during this time along with expansions in service and amenities along with the future growth track.
